  • Recherche

    Recherche

Hello! My name is Recherche and I’m a teacher from Toronto, Canada. In 2016 I graduated from York University with a teaching degree as well as an honours degree in fine arts. For the past 6 years I have had rewarding experiences teaching in Toronto and now in Angers. My objective as a teacher is to support each learner individually to achieve their full potential. I’m passionate about teaching in a creative way that engages children. Naturally, the Kids&Us method sparked my interest as it is an interactive, fun and motivational way for kids to learn English. In my spare time I like to paint, dance and bike. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Kids&Us Angers team!

    Emma

Hi I’m Emma. I’m a French-Canadian from Ottawa and moved to France 13 years ago. I have a Degree in Communications from Ottawa University and worked in television & radio back home. Coming to France meant ‘career change’ and being completely bilingual, it was almost natural for me to become an English teacher. In the last 12 years, I have experienced teaching to adults, engineering students and, thanks to Kids and Us, to young children since Sept. 2015. What a GREAT new adventure! As a mom of three, it’s thrilling to be able to mix my motherhood experience with the Kids and Us interactive pedagogy when communicating with our young students. I get such a rush when a baby pronounces their very first English word/phrase and I am fascinated by our young students’ / Babies’ reactions, responses and interaction with each other. I have finally found what I want to do when I grow up! Emma, Kids&Us Angers.

  • Eleanor

    Eleanor

My name is Eleanor and I’m from Eastbourne in England. I moved to Angers in 2016 after completing my bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish and my master’s in Business Translation with Interpreting. As well as teaching at Kids&Us I’m a freelance translator. I know what a difference being exposed to a language makes to the learning process, that’s why I’m so happy to be part of the Kids&Us team in Angers. Seeing the kids get better and more confident throughout the year is the best feeling! Eleanor, Kids&Us Angers.

  • Charlotte

    Charlotte

Hello! My name is Charlotte Canonne and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in the beautiful and windy city of Chicago, Illinois. I decided to move to Angers, France for my university studies and am currently studying at l’Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO). There I am studying languages to obtain a license in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA). I also work here in Angers at the Kids&Us center and I am so happy to have discovered such a wonderful place! The Kids&Us method is amazing and I just love seeing how fast the kids learn and develop their skills in English. Every day is a new adventure here at Kids&Us! I love that I get to teach our future generation and watch their brains flourish and show them how to speak in color. Kids&Us us gives me life and true happiness! I value each moment spent with the kids and could not have asked for a better opportunity! Charlotte, Kids&Us Angers.
